- Source is the Parallel Input register (PIR).
- Destination is the Serial Output register SOR.
The 'P' source is a data byte received on the parallel bus. See Device Communication for how this works. The 'S' destination takes the source value as a data byte to be serialised as output onto the serial bus. See Device Communication for how this works.
